Child Development Center

Child Development Centers (CDC) provide quality child development programs for children ages six weeks to five years.  All CDCs are DoD certified and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC is a membership organization that advocates on behalf of young children, sets and monitors standards for high-quality early childhood education programs and accredits programs that meet these standards.

Guantanamo Bay CDC provides Full Time and Hourly Care for children registered with CYP. It features a wide variety of activities and programs geared towards encouraging the development of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.  The CDC serves breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack, all prepared in accordance with USDA guidelines. The fee structure for full-time care is based on total family income as regulated by Department of Defense instructions.
