Supply Technician
INTRODUCTION: This position is located at Unaccompanied Housing Warehouse at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (NSGB). The purpose of this position is to maintain warehouse operations and provide inventory management with things such as receiving/ storing delivery of supplies and warehouse cleanliness.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Possess a welcoming manner and positive attitude; demonstrate effective communication skills; professionally interact with internal and external customers.
- Receive, barcode, handle, deliver, and process Unaccompanied Housing (UH) material. supplies, and Furniture Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E).
- Barcode new FF&E items and input data into Enterprise Military Housing (eMH) prior to issue.
- Distribute Unaccompanied Housing (UH) consumable materials, supplies, and Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E), as directed.
- Maintain clean and safe Unaccompanied Housing (UH) storeroom and /or warehouse spaces.
- Maintain assigned storeroom and/or warehouse spaces with required minimum of 98% inventory accuracy. Documents inventory records and update for receipts and issues.
- Prepare Furniture Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) for proper and appropriate disposal as
- directed.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferred six months’ experience in receiving, handling, dispersal, and disposal of material; and knowledge of warehouse procedures and on-line data input and reporting.
- Preferred 12 months of work experience that demonstrates knowledge of the basic principles,
- concepts, standards, and regulations of customer service.
- Must be skilled in the use of a personal computer, Microsoft Office applications.
- Must possess basic math and reading skills.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
EVALUATION: Candidates will be evaluated on quality and nature of the experience pertinent to the position. Application must show sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the full range of duties of the Supply Technician.

Conditions of Employment
