The Ceramics Shop offers residents a chance to enjoy their artistic side. The Ceramic Shop has a wide selection of green ware and pottery clay for purchasing. The shop is equipped with pottery wheels, painting supplies and kiln for firing projects. The Ceramic Shop also offers variety of classes for residents to participate in. Classes include Canvas Painting, Basic Pottery, Ceramic Molding, Scrapbooking and more.
The Wood Shop, located next to the Ceramic Shop, is for residents interested in wood working or learning a new hobby. The shop is equipped with over 20 commercial-grade wood working machinery and various hand-held tools for use. Residents must complete the Wood Shop 101 Class in order to use the Wood Shop. Classes are offered through the Ceramic Shop.The Wood Shop also offers variety of resale items ranging from hardwood to supplies for projects.

Welcome to the MWR Auto Skills. This is a hobby shop for the do-it-yourselfer. We have stalls, lifts, and so much more to offer. Not only do we provide the tools and equipment needed to do basic car maintenance we provide Auto Skills 101 Classes (required safety class), Heels on Wheels (a class designed specifically for women), and 4x4 off-road events, and so much more. When you are ready to register your vehicle we will provide an inspection for you so that you may continue the registration process at our local VRO. Have a project you need an extra set of hands for, or maybe a little guidance on...we have you covered! We look forward to serving you in the future.
Pedal on down to the bike shack when you have a moment of time! Offering bike rentals, both mountain and road, we provide the highest quality Fuji bicycles. (We provide a helmet for your knocker free of charge!) Do you have your bicycle that needs a tune-up? Our professional staff will assist you with your bike repairs and tune-ups. The MWR Community Library is a fun, comfortable place that provides resources and services that inform, entertain, and enrich the quality of life in GTMO. The Library has thousands of items in the collection ranging from the latest bestsellers to non-fiction materials, CLEP study materials to audiobooks and DVDs, and for all ages, babies through adults. Through the Navy Digital Library, https://www.navymwrdigitallibrary.org , we also provide access to downloadable audiobooks, e-books, reference materials, and practice tests at no cost to Sailors and Marines worldwide.

With an agility course, shade structure, and wide open space it’s a perfect place for you and your paw pal friends to meet and mingle. Bring your water bowl, water available! Check the MWR website or app for our annual pet friendly events like Pet Photos with Santa and the Lucky Dog Run.

Ground Zero Paintball Range is open on Saturdays from 10am-4pm for ages 10 and older. We also host a variety of tournaments and challenges throughout the year. Don't have your own marker? We have you covered.
You must use Ground Zero paintballs, and you can store left overs with us for your next trip! Paintballs that leave the course will not be admitted.

Marblehead Lanes Bowling Center provides fun and exciting recreational programming for all base residents. The courteous, friendly professional customer oriented staff actively organize and advertise bowling programs such as: Fun Leagues, cash leagues, tournaments, and Bowling Party packages. Also available Cosmic Party Package, you can request your favorite songs and music video and watch it on the big screen while having fun bowling. Lockers are available for rental. Marblehead Lanes Bowling Center is comprised of twenty eight Qubica AMF pinsetters and synthetic approaches and lanes. It boasts of having a state-of-the-art Qubica BES X Ultimate and Conquer Pro scoring system.

Looking for your next GTMO adventure? Come by the MWR Marina. We offer boat rentals including pontoons, skiffs, and sailboats alongside paddleboards and kayaks. Not ready to captain your own vessel? We offer monthly paddle trips and other outings, as well as 101 classes for beginners. We have a small shop in case you forgot a tool or lure before you go fishing. Stop by and ask us about our deep sea fishing and other charters today.
You will need a Guantanamo Bay Captains License to utilize our vessels so download your Captain's License Study Guide TODAY!
Step 1) Download and study the guide
Step 2) Walk in and take the written portion of the test during regular business hours.
Step 3) Once you pass the written test you can schedule your driving test. OR if you need, we will give you lessons!
Step 4) After you pass the driving test we take you on a Bay Orientation to make sure you know where the boundaries are.
Step 5) Get your license and go!
